I just wrapped up my 2022 Spooky Film Recommendations, but there’s more I wish to share. In case some of you are planning a bit of horror viewing over the weekend, I’ve listed my favorites from 13 years of blogging horror. I put the films in easy-peasy categories, with links to options for viewing.
PLEASE NOTE — I prefer horror about people and relationships, with stories that emphasize the interior horror landscape just as much, if not more, than the exterior. I’m less enthused by horror that relies primarily on special effects, jump scares, and endless/senseless gore.

I’d hoped to link you to my specific thoughts about each of these films, but my brain won’t latch on to the notion of “anchors.” You can always type a title into the search box (top right) to find the post that contains my thoughts on a specific film.
Wishing you all a fun and safe Halloween!
